But to his dismay, Riswan Batubara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Riswan Batubara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ian Tróia was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. 15 minutes into the match, Daniel Mendes notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Lucky Star's Kamal Habib. Kamal Habib was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Mendes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kamal Habib read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Kamal Habib made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerônimo Abraão in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Riswan Batubara notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of P3DR4 N0 S4P4T0 F.C's Ian Tróia. P3DR4 N0 S4P4T0 F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Riswan Batubara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Riswan Batubara made a kick off. If Sondang Gultom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Lucky Star's goal looked a bit too open when Jerônimo Abraão came free, but Kamal Habib reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Frits Darmawan fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lucky Star's protests and gave Frits Darmawan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th match minute, Lucky Star was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frits Darmawan to maneuver through the defense. Ian Tróia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Riswan Batubara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
