An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Fraco in the 87th minute of play forced The Underdogs's goalkeeper Dirk-Jan Akkerman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Apolo Ixidor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barrilete Cósmico FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Many of The Underdogs's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. The Underdogs may have spent more time on the ball, but Barrilete Cósmico FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
