With a left leg Jordan Laforgue saved Rathmore Lime Tree from getting behind. 30 minutes into the game, Éloi Le Calvez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rathmore Lime Tree's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Australian Youth Academy the free kick. In the 30th minute, Éloi Le Calvez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paul-Henri Gayraud hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Jim Belloir hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Adil Magaud managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rathmore Lime Tree's supporters rose to their feet, but Adil Magaud was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jordan Laforgue didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dakota Gaffigan went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Rathmore Lime Tree made a substitution. Georges Labarthe replaced Paul-Henri Gayraud. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Olliver Todmans short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Jordan Laforgue to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rathmore Lime Tree were furious when Hervé Annette was red carded, 55 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 55 minutes into the game, one of Rathmore Lime Tree:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Hank Bleazard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Jordan Laforgue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Rathmore Lime Tree booed when Australian Youth Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ben Minton didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Australian Youth Academy's zone, Fernand Rouland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dani Cochrane came out of the goal and Fernand Rouland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jordan Laforgue took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olliver Todman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rathmore Lime Tree's Jordan Laforgue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dakota Gaffigan in the 90th minute of play. Ben Minton kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Australian Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Fernand Rouland came free, but Dani Cochrane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rathmore Lime Tree's Brian Boullet got a free kick in the 95th minute. Australian Youth Academy were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
