Zeru Palomares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chiquinho Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. George Pedraza's late challenge caught a Pesqueira City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. George Pedraza helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Pesqueira City booed when C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Pedraza didn't get a good kick on the ball. The tension between the Pesqueira City and the C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th minute Dráuzio Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeru Palomares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeru Palomares came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Pesqueira City's Dráuzio Sergipano. But to his dismay, Dráuzio Sergipano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Eriz Andres was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 39 minutes into the match. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07! The referee gave Pesqueira City a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Valdemar Nascimento, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Zeru Palomares. 0-3. A collision led to C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. George Pedraza hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Chiquinho Alcântara came free with the goalkeeper in the 51st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zeru Palomares could save by the left post. Hermenegildo Hagi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 62 minutes into the match, Vito Cabada notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Pesqueira City's Ivo de Moraes. Ivo de Moraes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 83rd minute, Tomé Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Zeru Palomares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar Nascimento in the 89th minute of play. After 90 minutes, Bartolomé Correa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 and the Pesqueira City players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Bartolomé Correa got a free kick in the 90th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Valdemar Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pesqueira City's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdemar Nascimento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeru Palomares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
