In the 12th minute Ubarna Huertas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Ţirpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 played minutes Batalionul U23 Dorobanti got a freekick which was hit by Moise Stejaru. Maurin Pamo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th match minute, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avram Panaiteanu to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goalkeeper Alex Ţirpe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christiano Planes. The crowd rose to their feet as Ubarna Huertas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alex Ţirpe. That made the score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Berdoi Seiro during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wawa Doro in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pacifico Cezuago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Wawa Doro sped through Sociedad Anónima's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pacifico Cezuago. Ubarna Huertas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Alex Ţirpe skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 39th match minute, Sociedad Anónima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiano Planes to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Sociedad Anónima getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Maurin Pamo hit a great ball. After 46 played minutes Sociedad Anónima got a freekick which was hit by Goiz Cancela. Guib Gonzalo hit a great ball. 49 minutes into the match, Sociedad Anónima's goal looked a bit too open when Ionel Manolescu came free, but Pacifico Cezuago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After having played for 53 minutes, Ubarna Huertas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sociedad Anónima's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubarna Huertas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alex Ţirpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubarna Huertas in the 56th minute of the match. In the 61stth minute of the game Ubarna Huertas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Alex Ţirpe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sociedad Anónima's Pacifico Cezuago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wawa Doro in the 63rd minute of play. Ubarna Huertas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alex Ţirpe having to make a save. Alex Ţirpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubarna Huertas in the 65th minute of play. Txurio Closa hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Pacifico Cezuago acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 84th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ionel Manolescu. The supporters of Batalionul U23 Dorobanti booed when Sociedad Anónima was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gai Bustinaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Ţirpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubarna Huertas in the 93rd minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Batalionul U23 Dorobanti players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sociedad Anónima.
