Spectators: 8007 (Terracing: 6007, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 159) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eraldo Monaco took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Eraldo Monaco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Severino Madureira. The goal made the score 1-0. After having played for 8 minutes, Faustão Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faustão Alagoano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Severino Madureira got control of the ball when Eraldo Monaco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabiano Passerini received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Severino Madureira came out and tried to block the shot, but Fabiano Passerini slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 16th minute. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Severino Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Passerini in the 18th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Glasgow Rangers FC's Eraldo Monaco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severino Madureira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Faustão Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 played minutes CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE got a freekick which was hit by Frederico Mattos. Fabiano Passerini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Severino Madureira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severino Madureira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Comunardo Zollino, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

55 minutes into the match, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's goal looked a bit too open when Eraldo Monaco came free, but Severino Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 59 played minutes, Glasgow Rangers FC's Concetto Corvasce shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Severino Madureira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Glasgow Rangers FC reached it. Severino Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Comunardo Zollino in the 60th minute of the match. Severino Madureira came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Glasgow Rangers FC's Eraldo Monaco. But to his dismay, Eraldo Monaco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Júlio Brasil in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ferruccio Carafa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 71st minute, Gláuber Mattos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ferruccio Carafa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Dias in the 77th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Eraldo Monaco notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Severino Madureira. Severino Madureira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Comunardo Zollino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Glasgow Rangers FC booed when CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelinho Ramalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute of the match Dario Del Monaco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Severino Madureira skillfully saved the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Glasgow Rangers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Dias came free, but Ferruccio Carafa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Glasgow Rangers FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
