Spectators: 7810 (Terracing: 5800, Seating: 1850, VIP seats: 160) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kristen Sollien made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute Jan-Kenneth Øglænd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan-Kenneth Øglænd in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aloísio Vargas saved Cruzeiro Esporte Clube from getting behind. Bjørn Engelund was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Perivaldo Valle capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Perivaldo Valle really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Kristen Sollien charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kristen Sollien the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kristen Sollien kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. If Renatinho Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Kenneth Øglænd took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aloísio Vargas. Aloísio Vargas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Vicente Chaves scored 2-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bjørn Engelund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bjørn Engelund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renatinho Linhares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Naldo Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Bjørn Engelund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Renatinho Linhares might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bjørn Engelund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Renatinho Linhares ran back to his position shaking his head. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Cruzeiro Esporte Clube made a substitution. Ian Abreu replaced Renatinho Linhares. The wind increased when Vicente Chaves made the kick off in the second half. Jan-Kenneth Øglænd struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Aloísio Vargas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Pladask. Vicente Chaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bjørn Engelund having to interfere. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Leonardo Porto was substituted for Gláuber Meira. Bjørn Engelund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perivaldo Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Naldo Guedes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute, Ian Abreu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bjørn Engelund was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Aloísio Vargas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristen Sollien in the 77th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, Harald Knutsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Pladask's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cruzeiro Esporte Clube the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Kenneth Øglænd got free with Aloísio Vargas in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85th minute, Ramón Barbosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cruzeiro Esporte Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. FC Pladask's Bjørn Engelund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Abreu in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Leonardo Porto threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Pladask's Harald Knutsen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 94thth minute of the game Ramón Barbosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Pladask's Bjørn Engelund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
