After 41 played minutes Atlético Municipal got a freekick which was hit by Bakar Arriano. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ongile Arainz in the 54th minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Pablo-Enrique Oribe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bihar Arriaga got free with Basilio Munet in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaen Marroquin got free with Basilio Munet in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Atlético Municipal's Basilio Munet got control of the ball when Bihar Arriaga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Matthew McConaughey hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Playa Malvín's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
