Kristen Sollien started the match with the kick off. FC Pladask's Bjørn Engelund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodoveo Huly in the 3rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Clodoveo Huly's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bjørn Engelund was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 18th minute Jan-Kenneth Øglænd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Gilesindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clodoveo Huly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Bjørn Engelund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clodoveo Huly took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bjørn Engelund. Bjørn Engelund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelio Weather during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 28 played minutes Scofield got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Weather. After some careless play in the Scofield defense, Jan-Kenneth Øglænd kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abel Gilesindo. The Scofield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abel Gilesindo should have stopped the shot. 32 minutes into the match, FC Pladask's goalkeeper Bjørn Engelund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerardo Viviano. The audience was convinced that Clodoveo Huly's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bjørn Engelund was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Albert Bergerud charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Scofield's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan-Kenneth Øglænd was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clodoveo Huly stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Clodoveo Huly scored 3-2 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bjørn Engelund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abel Gilesindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristen Sollien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Scofield's Clodoveo Huly in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Scofield's Clodoveo Huly in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Pladask's goalie prevented a goal. When Clodoveo Huly came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Scofield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clodoveo Huly couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Kenneth Øglænd got free with Abel Gilesindo in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Scofield's Roman Elorri got a free kick in the 88th minute. A collision led to Scofield getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Jonas Gitano hit a great ball. After 93 played minutes Scofield got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Manny. The audience was convinced that Clodoveo Huly's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bjørn Engelund was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The Scofield players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
