Juan Estevan Valdivia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zé Pedro de Queirós. America Futebol Clube SP's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Víctor Javier Jimenez kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After 17th play minutes Paco Parrasia shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Zé Pedro de Queirós and just under the crossbar into goal. America Futebol Clube SP's Zé Pedro de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paco Parrasia in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, SICARIOS Fútbol Club's Angelo Palacios got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute Adelino Parraguez suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Víctor Javier Jimenez ran back to his position shaking his head. Zé Pedro de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Francisco Guzmán in the 38th minute of play. Zé Pedro de Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paco Parrasia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute José Francisco Guzmán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Pedro de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laurín Grebe made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Juarês Vides sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
José Francisco Guzmán could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Zé Pedro de Queirós made a huge save. In the 52nd minute, Rony Neiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind America Futebol Clube SP's goalkeeper Zé Pedro de Queirós, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paco Parrasia got free with Zé Pedro de Queirós in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zé Pedro de Queirós made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Paco Parrasia sent off a good shot on target. Enrique Mariano Casanueva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Francisco Guzmán showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Angelo Palacios's late challenge caught a America Futebol Clube SP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelo Palacios helped the player get up and apologised. After 81 played minutes SICARIOS Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Palacios. Zé Pedro de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Francisco Guzmán in the 84th minute of the match. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
