The supporters of Cremonese booed when Timo! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Raphael didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Hugo Kepa fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Timo!'s protests and gave Hugo Kepa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Timo! getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Hugo Kepa hit a great ball. In the 11th minute, Laureano Asur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Kepa in the 15th minute of play forced Cremonese's goalkeeper Horacio Vitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cremonese's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Niguel Mansell scored to the left of an out of position Horacio Vitin, making the score, 2-1. After 35 played minutes Timo! got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Dantel. Teodosio Niva took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roque Montes. Timo!'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Timo!'s Roque Montes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualterio Idacio in the 37th minute of play. Hugo Kepa hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the game, Cremonese's Prudencio Ostargi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roque Montes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. When Melchor Ondino came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Cremonese fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melchor Ondino couldn't finish the play.

51 minutes in the game, Prudencio Ostargi fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Roque Montes having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cremonese's Sixto Ralondo got a free kick in the 61st minute. Roque Montes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Ostargi in the 64th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the game, Humberto Mel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Horacio Vitin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Warner Timo struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Horacio Vitin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Timo!. 86 minutes into the match, Cremonese's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Colapinto came free, but Horacio Vitin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prudencio Ostargi got free with Roque Montes in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Melchor Ondino might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roque Montes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Melchor Ondino ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 93rd minute Prudencio Ostargi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Montes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cremonese players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Timo!.
