It was a penalty for Türk Polis Gücü! 25 minutes into the match, Türk Polis Gücü's goal looked a bit too open when George Ström came free, but Ataman Soyuer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ataman Soyuer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Olof Jernberg in the 26th minute of the match. When George Ström came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Sundens BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that George Ström couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, George Ström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Sundens BK were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and George Ström made a kick off. Sven-Olof Jernberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ataman Soyuer having to interfere. When George Ström came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Sundens BK fans jumped to their feet. Sundens BK's Conny Mårtensson was substituted for Sven-Olof Jernberg. When Alvar Söderman fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sundens BK's protests and gave Alvar Söderman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th match minute, Sundens BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvar Söderman to maneuver through the defense. After 62 played minutes Sundens BK got a freekick which was hit by Börje Askestät. Songurhan Ağın might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Axel Martinsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olov Alebäck didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Sundens BK's goal looked a bit too open when Şafak Oktar came free, but Axel Martinsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ataman Soyuer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Asserlindh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Türk Polis Gücü booed when Sundens BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Alebäck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Asserlindh succeeded in the game's 89th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. Niklas Skålberg's late challenge caught a Türk Polis Gücü's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niklas Skålberg helped the player get up and apologised. Niklas Skålberg hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
