Domingos Rodriguez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovani Vieira in the 23rd minute of play forced MILAN COLOMBIANO's goalkeeper Domingos Rodriguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute Falcão Nóbrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Rodriguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeremias Indartsu to make the kick off. In the 61st minute Geovani Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Rodriguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Geovani Vieira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Domingos Rodriguez. MILAN COLOMBIANO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geovani Vieira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 70thth minute of the game Joélson Donatello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MILAN COLOMBIANO's Domingos Rodriguez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 76 minutes, Ivo Pernambucano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rio Verde F.C CIMZ and the MILAN COLOMBIANO players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th match minute, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivo Pernambucano to maneuver through the defense. After 77 played minutes Rio Verde F.C CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Pernambucano. Falcão Nóbrega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's José Paulo Xavier got control of the ball when Jairo Benet tried to sneak it across the goal line. MILAN COLOMBIANO were furious when Cleto Oidor was red carded, 91 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Cleto Oidor kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
