In the 22nd minute of the match, Cordarrell Zabala tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luís Gustavo Pirani saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Joao Artazas short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Luís Gustavo Pirani to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Luís Gustavo Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joao Artaza in the 28th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of ALMA GUERREIRA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fire Breathers FC:s goal. ALMA GUERREIRA:s Luís Gustavo Pirani showed great skill when he stopped Dani Murgia:s penalty. In the 30th minute, Dani Murgia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Gustavo Pirani was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With a little luck, ALMA GUERREIRA's Luís Gustavo Pirani got control of the ball when Cordarrell Zabala tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bartuelo Ruich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Gustavo Pirani having to interfere. Luís Gustavo Pirani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cordarrell Zabala, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
