The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. ALMA GUERREIRA's Luís Gustavo Pirani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save ALMA GUERREIRA from getting a goal against them. After 9 played minutes AC Collins got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Martano. Fabiano Del Papa took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Gustavo Pirani. Luís Gustavo Pirani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Alfredo Lemma might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Gustavo Pirani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfonso Vittorio was slow to take the kick. During this time AC Collins's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on AC Collins's corner Ennio Catena fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Luís Gustavo Pirani quite easily take care of the ball. Alfredo Lemma might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Gustavo Pirani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Lemma ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 70th minute, Alfredo Lemma left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Collins fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. After 74 minutes, Alfredo Lemma mouthed his way into the referee's book. Cesare Trentini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute, Dave Marrone ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Gustavo Pirani was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ennio Catena in the 90th minute of play forced ALMA GUERREIRA's goalkeeper Luís Gustavo Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ALMA GUERREIRA's Luís Gustavo Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Del Papa in the 92nd minute of play. AC Collins's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfonso Vittorio in the 93rd minute. Murilo Barros charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Murilo Barros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 94th match minute, ALMA GUERREIRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murilo Barros to maneuver through the defense. ALMA GUERREIRA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
