PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Egoitz in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca booed when Arrecifes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Honrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vlad Covrig had great luck who in the 15thth minute grab hold of the ball when Froilan Cutberto from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. A throw-in in the 19th minute of the game was made by Tiberiu Rotariu with Sebastian Istodor as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 23 minutes into the match, Damian Cârlan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baldomero Vermudo. Arrecifes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damian Cârlan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Baldomero Vermudo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Istodor in the 34th minute of play. Eric Astafei kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Abad in the 37th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abel Egoitz in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vlad Covrig saved PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca from getting behind. Baldomero Vermudo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Cârlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Arrecifes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damian Cârlan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Baldomero Vermudo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eric Astafei. In the 64th minute Damian Cârlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Vermudo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arrecifes's Lisandro Geofredo was substituted for Raul Toro. Eugenio Loren hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Baldomero Vermudo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Istodor, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After a rather tough play, Arrecifes's Lucio Hever got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute Damian Cârlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Vermudo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damian Cârlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Baldomero Vermudo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Cutberto in the 84th minute of play. Mircea Jupân kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Mircea Jupân got a throw-in 94 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Eric Astafei. After 96 minutes of play, Arrecifes's Froilan Cutberto made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vlad Covrig was left in no man's land by his defense there! PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Arrecifes to leave the ground with a draw.
