With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nemesio Firman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 7th minute Leopold Glowacz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Firman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Joaquin Rosio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bendito Sea El Fernet fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, West Staines Massive's Willi Grünberger got a free kick in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the match, West Staines Massive's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Osasun came free, but Patrick Oliver Veith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Leopold Glowacz managed to get in a good position for a shot. West Staines Massive's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopold Glowacz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nemesio Firman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eberhard Romstedt came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nemesio Firman could save by the left post. Raimund Lips hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Willi Grünberger during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Willi Grünberger kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. If Joaquin Rosio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the game, Bendito Sea El Fernet's Lorenzo Bortzaioriz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patrick Oliver Veith made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After the first half Bendito Sea El Fernet were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Augusto Osasun made a kick off. Nemesio Firman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopold Glowacz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nemesio Firman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopold Glowacz, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. If Eberhard Romstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nemesio Firman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hubert Michelsen in the 69th minute of play. Nemesio Firman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopold Glowacz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eberhard Romstedt in the 72nd minute of play forced Bendito Sea El Fernet's goalkeeper Nemesio Firman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Bendito Sea El Fernet's goal looked a bit too open when Eberhard Romstedt came free, but Nemesio Firman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bendito Sea El Fernet's Nemesio Firman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eberhard Romstedt in the 73rd minute of play. If Hubert Michelsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Valentin Francho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute Joaquin Rosio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Oliver Veith saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hubert Michelsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 played minutes Bendito Sea El Fernet got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Lluciano. After having played for 84 minutes, Peter Jüttner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. West Staines Massive's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Jüttner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, Leopold Glowacz made a precise shot to the right of Nemesio Firman. Bendito Sea El Fernet's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Bendito Sea El Fernet were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over West Staines Massive's much stronger midfield.
