GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chivos de Punto Fijo the free kick. Iacob Moga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Martin Pasqua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute Lidon Bengoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viorel Crăcană saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th match minute, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucian Grădinaru to maneuver through the defense. Viorel Crăcană made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Amenedo in the 15th minute of play. Martin Pasqua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Stănoiu in the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Chivos de Punto Fijo's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Stănoiu came free, but Martin Pasqua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 played minutes Chivos de Punto Fijo got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Guisasola. Viorel Crăcană took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Gay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viorel Crăcană didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lidon Bengoa went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Gabriel Gay came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Chivos de Punto Fijo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Gay couldn't finish the play. Martin Pasqua made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Paul Stănoiu sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Gabriel Gay made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Martin Amenedo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Viorel Crăcană. Martin Amenedo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. After 62 minutes, Bela Gayoso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chivos de Punto Fijo and the GoooooooooooooooooooooooL players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bela Gayoso kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Viorel Crăcană played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Gay in the 68th minute of play. With a little luck, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Viorel Crăcană got control of the ball when Bela Gayoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chivos de Punto Fijo made a substitution. Chivos de Punto Fijo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
