The supporters of Deportivo Balvanera booed when LOI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vefa Yazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 11 played minutes Deportivo Balvanera got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Costas. A collision led to LOI getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ahmet Bedri Haseki hit a great ball. Ekber Sehrud's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodosio Urtats read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Teodosio Urtats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ekber Sehrud in the 19th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of LOI:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Deportivo Balvanera:s goal. When the match had been going on for 23 minutes, Deportivo Balvanera's Rene Restu got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Hatemi Yavuzcan. 26 minutes into the match, LOI's goalkeeper Hatemi Yavuzcan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Omar Fliz. Teodosio Urtats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neşat Arıcan in the 30th minute of play. Santiago Sosa hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Omar Fliz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Hatemi Yavuzcan made a huge save. In the 39th minute Rene Restu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hatemi Yavuzcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 43 minutes, Rene Restu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Balvanera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rene Restu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Deportivo Balvanera's goal looked a bit too open when Neşat Arıcan came free, but Teodosio Urtats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Neşat Arıcan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ramiro Quin struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Hatemi Yavuzcan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Balvanera. In the 55th minute, Rene Restu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Balvanera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 58 minutes LOI's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Santiago Sosa who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Deportivo Balvanera's corner Santiago Sosa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hatemi Yavuzcan quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Deportivo Balvanera booed when LOI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Batur Müslim didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute of the match Santiago Sosa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hatemi Yavuzcan skillfully saved the ball. Hatemi Yavuzcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Restu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Deportivo Balvanera booed when LOI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mutlu Elmacıoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santiago Sosa took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hatemi Yavuzcan. Hatemi Yavuzcan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. A collision led to LOI getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Vefa Yazar hit a great ball. Deportivo Balvanera's Romeo Gaztea was substituted for Ernesto Argoitz. The supporters of Deportivo Balvanera booed when LOI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vefa Yazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dursun Altunay hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Santiago Sosa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hatemi Yavuzcan. LOI's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Batur Müslim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hatemi Yavuzcan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Restu, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Hatemi Yavuzcan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Fliz in the 92nd minute of the match. LOI's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
