Spectators: 8468 (Terracing: 6352, Seating: 1947, VIP seats: 169) Rafa Mello started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The crowd rose to their feet as S.C. Reis United's Henrique Trigo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of David Chițes. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. When Buffalo Timişoara's Andrei Zâncă in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S.C. Reis United's goalie prevented a goal. The corner led Buffalo Timişoara's Mugur Hudiță to fire away a dangerous shot which João Paulo Urbano despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 14th match minute, S.C. Reis United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Trigo to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Buffalo Timişoara's David Chițes got control of the ball when Rafa Mello tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute Rafa Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Chițes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Chițes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafa Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, Eliodor Petran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Chițes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Trigo in the 32nd minute of play. Rafa Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. David Chițes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Betão de Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Chițes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustinian Gurlui in the 45th minute of play forced S.C. Reis United's goalkeeper João Paulo Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Buffalo Timişoara's Gelu Ţeica got a free kick in the 45th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andrei Zâncă to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Eliodor Petran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the game, Mugur Hudiță was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buffalo Timişoara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.C. Reis United the free kick. Mugur Hudiță hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. David Chițes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafa Mello in the 61st minute of play. S.C. Reis United's João Paulo Urbano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save S.C. Reis United from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Buffalo Timişoara's Eliodor Petran got a free kick in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Rafa Mello cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. David Chițes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrei Zâncă in the 84th minute of play forced S.C. Reis United's goalkeeper João Paulo Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Buffalo Timişoara's João Paulo Urbano threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gelu Ţeica, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 92 minutes, Mihai Poalelungi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buffalo Timişoara and the S.C. Reis United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Buffalo Timişoara's goalkeeper David Chițes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
