The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulinho Fonseca to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Jovens Democratas MZC's Doni Berger got a free kick in the 51st minute. Kauã Terra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Jovens Democratas MZC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Marcinho Sampaio hit a great ball. When Joinville City - FSCMZ's José Augusto Favoretto in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jovens Democratas MZC's goalie prevented a goal. Luiz Fabiano Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fernando Silva having to interfere. The supporters of Jovens Democratas MZC booed when Joinville City - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauã Terra didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the game, José Augusto Favoretto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Joinville City - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jovens Democratas MZC the free kick. In the 80th minute of the match Filipe Rossi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luiz Fernando Silva skillfully saved the ball. In the 88th minute, Luís Paulo Ferreira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Fernando Silva was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Mateus Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The supporters of Joinville City - FSCMZ booed when Jovens Democratas MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Joinville City - FSCMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Jovens Democratas MZC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
