In the 23rd match minute, Los Gallos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Ireno to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Los Gallos getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Uriel Rik hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Weterio in the 37th minute of play forced Los Gallos's goalkeeper Filiberto Iratzeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eustacio Socorro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Osoitz in the 38th minute of play. Los Gallos's Niceto Gergori was substituted for Uriel Rik. In the 40th minute, Gaston Ubarna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 41 played minutes Los Gallos got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Ireno. Fernando Osoitz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eustacio Socorro came out and tried to block the shot, but Fernando Osoitz slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 44th minute. In the 46th match minute, Los Gallos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Leocadio to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Filiberto Iratzeder came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Soroca F.C.'s Silverio Delfino. But to his dismay, Silverio Delfino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 60th minute, Soroca F.C.'s Gaston Ubarna ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Filiberto Iratzeder. Filiberto Iratzeder yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Filiberto Iratzeder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Uriel Precioso in the 65th minute. In the 68th minute, Arthur Theakston reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Filiberto Iratzeder. The goal made the score 2-3. Eustacio Socorro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Neron in the 77th minute of the match. When Primitivo Chago came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Los Gallos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primitivo Chago couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Precioso in the 82nd minute of play forced Los Gallos's goalkeeper Filiberto Iratzeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Soroca F.C.'s Arthur Theakston nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filiberto Iratzeder made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. A collision led to Los Gallos getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Danilo Ireno hit a great ball.
