In the 5th minute, Mihnea Martinaș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Juarês Antunes got a free kick in the 9th minute. Imbituba - FSCMZ's Jeremias Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcu Hagi in the 10th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Marcu Hagi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BlueLionesse fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Șerban Moșanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Fábio Hermes's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 19th match minute, BlueLionesse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantin Baican to maneuver through the defense. Șerban Moșanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joélson Madureira in the 24th minute of play. Marcu Hagi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Vale having to interfere. Jeremias Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petrică Pârcălab, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Petrică Pârcălab could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Jeremias Vale made a huge save. In the 39th minute of the match BlueLionesse got a corner. Imbituba - FSCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Narcis Inculeț ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led BlueLionesse's Narcis Inculeț to fire away a dangerous shot which Jeremias Vale despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jeremias Vale didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 40th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Imbituba - FSCMZ's Jeremias Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcu Hagi in the 46th minute of play. When BlueLionesse's Marcu Hagi, in the 46th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for BlueLionesse. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joélson Madureira to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Imbituba - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Marcu Hagi came free, but Jeremias Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rareș Vuşcan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremias Vale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. If Rareș Vuşcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Fábio Hermes in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Șerban Moșanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Luiz Fábio Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imbituba - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Fábio Hermes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Șerban Moșanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lino Souto's late challenge caught a BlueLionesse's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lino Souto helped the player get up and apologised. Jeremias Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcu Hagi in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute of the match Narcis Inculeț sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeremias Vale skillfully saved the ball. BlueLionesse were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Imbituba - FSCMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Narcis Inculeț took the corner. Narcis Inculeț made a great header on BlueLionesse's corner, it was just that Imbituba - FSCMZ's Jeremias Vale managed to reach the ball for a save. Șerban Moșanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Fábio Hermes in the 91st minute. BlueLionesse were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
