The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute Olimpiu Teodorescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manfred Jönsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th match minute, FC Cosula-BTF- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alin Bucur to maneuver through the defense. The referee ignored FC Cosula-BTF-'s protests and gave Vintilă Bădescu a yellow card for diving instead. Dan Alupulesei's late challenge caught a Baxters Boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Baxters Boys's Torbjörn Dahlman got a free kick in the 50th minute. Baxters Boys's Manfred Jönsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciprian Gaiță in the 51st minute of play. 52 minutes in the game, Ciprian Gaiță dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Olimpiu Teodorescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Manfred Jönsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Alin Bucur was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 58 minutes had been played. The supporters of Baxters Boys booed when FC Cosula-BTF- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alin Bucur didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute, Baxters Boys's Edmund Olsman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ilie Brumaru. Ilie Brumaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georg Lindberg in the 77th minute of the match. In the 80th minute of the match, Edmund Olsman got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ilie Brumaru was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Georg Lindberg struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Ilie Brumaru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baxters Boys. Ilie Brumaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Klint in the 86th minute of the match. If Vintilă Bădescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Edmund Olsman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilie Brumaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baxters Boys's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
