Spectators: 9225 (Terracing: 6920, Seating: 2122, VIP seats: 183) Olimpiu Teodorescu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Göran Lidman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 6th minute, Olimpiu Teodorescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Cosula-BTF- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Xentrias's Göran Lidman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ilie Brumaru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ilie Brumaru was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Göran Lidman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Göran Lidman really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 14 minutes into the match, Olimpiu Teodorescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stig Busk. Xentrias's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olimpiu Teodorescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Stig Busk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olimpiu Teodorescu in the 18th minute of the match. Ilie Brumaru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christoffer Öberg in the 19th minute. Ilie Brumaru was a little too slow when Christoffer Öberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Xentrias's zone, Petruț Dugulescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stig Busk came out of the goal and Petruț Dugulescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Olimpiu Teodorescu sped through Xentrias's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stig Busk. 29 minutes into the match, Xentrias's goal looked a bit too open when Sergiu Rădoi came free, but Stig Busk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute Göran Lidman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilie Brumaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Xentrias's Lukas Bjursell to fire away a dangerous shot which Ilie Brumaru despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Aleksander Bank charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aleksander Bank the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ilie Brumaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göran Lidman in the 36th minute of play. The supporters of FC Cosula-BTF- booed when Xentrias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Göran Lidman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Göran Lidmans short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Ilie Brumaru to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 46 minutes, Christoffer Öberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Xentrias and the FC Cosula-BTF- players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sandu Bărbânță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half FC Cosula-BTF- were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christoffer Öberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee felt a red card was in order, 69 minutes into the game, when Aurel Lăceanu put in a rough tackle. The referee gave Xentrias a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Christoffer Öberg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ilie Brumaru. 3-3. Göran Lidman scored 4-3 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ilie Brumaru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in FC Cosula-BTF-'s zone, Christoffer Öberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilie Brumaru came out of the goal and Christoffer Öberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christoffer Öberg was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Christoffer Öberg kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Xentrias were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Cosula-BTF- for a fine match.
