The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rosendo Gonsalvo struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Haroldo Cresencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Terremoto FC. Terremoto FC's Arnaldo Chayo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Terremoto FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Shuspendemo booed when Terremoto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Generoso Betadur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnaldo Chayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nacho Manuel in the 23rd minute of play. Terremoto FC's Arnaldo Chayo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Terremoto FC from getting a goal against them. Guido Carrillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Arnaldo Chayo made a huge save. After 35 played minutes Terremoto FC got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Gonsalvo. 37 minutes into the match, Terremoto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nacho Manuel came free, but Arnaldo Chayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nacho Manuel in the 42nd minute of play forced Terremoto FC's goalkeeper Arnaldo Chayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 minutes Terremoto FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roque Remicio who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Shuspendemo's corner Roque Remicio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnaldo Chayo quite easily take care of the ball. After 44 played minutes Terremoto FC got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Bartoleme. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nacho Manuel made a kick off. Arnaldo Chayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Carrillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Shuspendemo's Ruben Rioja seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ruben Rioja the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Shuspendemo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ruben Rioja had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Terremoto FC a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cesar Bartoleme, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Shuspendemo's Haroldo Cresencio. 0-1. Haroldo Cresencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Bartoleme in the 61st minute of play. Haroldo Cresencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Bartoleme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cesar Bartoleme got free with Haroldo Cresencio in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Terremoto FC's Atilano Abechuco was substituted for Mauricio Silbestre. Atilano Abechuco's late challenge caught a Shuspendemo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atilano Abechuco helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Terremoto FC's Atilano Abechuco got a free kick in the 75th minute. Arnaldo Chayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nacho Manuel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haroldo Cresencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Bento, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Haroldo Cresencio made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Cesar Bartoleme sent off a good shot on target. Cesar Bartoleme succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 85th playminute. Haroldo Cresencio was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Cesar Bartoleme capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cesar Bartoleme really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. In the 93rd minute Severino Sotero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Cresencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Atilano Abechuco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Haroldo Cresencio. The goal made the score 0-5. The Terremoto FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
