Spectators: 8610 (Terracing: 6458, Seating: 1980, VIP seats: 172) Silvano Martxel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Pedro Torrens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Martxel in the 3rd minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, AFC United's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Martxel came free, but Pedro Torrens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Waitakere F.C.'s Nicanor Pueblo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Torrens. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. Nicanor Pueblo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Pedro Torrens skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. AFC United's Pedro Torrens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save AFC United from getting a goal against them. Sergio Nazario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector-Luis Conllas, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hector-Luis Conllas in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergio Nazario saved Waitakere F.C. from getting behind. Pedro Torrens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Pueblo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lalo Buenaga to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Waitakere F.C.'s Niceto Maraman got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Niceto Maraman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 61 minutes, Leonardo Tiadoro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Waitakere F.C. and the AFC United players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of AFC United booed when Waitakere F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Tiadoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sergio Nazario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector-Luis Conllas in the 64th minute of play. AFC United made a substitution. Pablo-Enrique Erauzquin replaced Anxo Labrada. In the 73rd minute of the match AFC United got a corner. Waitakere F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Teofilo Pardelas ran over to the corner to take the kick. AFC United's Teofilo Pardelas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sergio Nazario in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Hector-Luis Conllas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Sergio Nazario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hector-Luis Conllas fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFC United's protests and gave Hector-Luis Conllas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th match minute, AFC United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector-Luis Conllas to maneuver through the defense. Hector-Luis Conllas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Waitakere F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of AFC United for a fine match.
