Decathlon Dudes's Gerrit Kemper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Gerazan in the 3rd minute of play. Ringo Bonavena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerrit Kemper having to interfere. Bart Schild's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Mingo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Joaquin Mingo came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Decathlon Dudes's Alex Deinse. But to his dismay, Alex Deinse quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The supporters of Sportivo Luan Toro booed when Decathlon Dudes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bart Schild didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sportivo Luan Toro's Ringo Bonavena managed to work through Decathlon Dudes's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Ringo Bonavena dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Ringo Bonavena kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Decathlon Dudes's Stefan Waterreus got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Sportivo Luan Toro's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Deinse came free, but Joaquin Mingo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dionisio Diaz charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dionisio Diaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dionisio Diaz kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Wesley van Rhijn made the kick off in the second half. If Wesley van Rhijn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 55 played minutes Sportivo Luan Toro got a freekick which was hit by Cecilio Montrel. In the 58thth minute of the game Ringo Bonavena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Decathlon Dudes's Gerrit Kemper was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Luan Toro's Dionisio Diaz got a free kick in the 70th minute. Sportivo Luan Toro made a substitution. Prudencio Polentzi replaced Dionisio Diaz. Sportivo Luan Toro's Ringo Bonavena got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Felix Janus fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Decathlon Dudes's protests and gave Felix Janus a yellow card for diving instead. Decathlon Dudes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Eleuterio Arlo scored to the left of an out of position Gerrit Kemper, making the score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wesley van Rhijn in the 93rd minute of play forced Sportivo Luan Toro's goalkeeper Joaquin Mingo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquin Mingo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wesley van Rhijn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
