Tsinamdzghvrishvili Brzęczyszczykiewicz made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Nilmar Eger sent off a good shot on target. Sportivo Fernet Branca's Gustavo-Hernán Egoi got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabrício Simões prevented the ball from getting in the gole. But to his dismay, Gustavo-Hernán Egoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 44 minutes into the game, Gustavo-Hernán Egoi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sportivo Fernet Branca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter de Munique the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Fernet Branca's Gustavo-Hernán Egoi got a free kick in the 44th minute. Gonzo Pereyra charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gonzo Pereyra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After the first half Sportivo Fernet Branca were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andoni Donadoni to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Inter de Munique's Fabrício Simões got control of the ball when Gustavo-Hernán Egoi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Inter de Munique's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Milano came free, but Fabrício Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
