The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute, Gilberto Izel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Strömsbro IF's Georg Glad managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Freddy Cidro in the 10 minute of the game. Argyris Papapetrou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Argyris Papapetrou scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Franco Moscatelli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Argyris Papapetrou in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franco Moscatelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Freddy Cidro made in the 20th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Enrique Rozarius however managed to control. Franco Moscatelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Argyris Papapetrou's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Argyris Papapetrou might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franco Moscatelli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Argyris Papapetrou ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Argyris Papapetrou in the 30th minute of play forced La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Franco Moscatelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franco Moscatelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uno Mattsson in the 39th minute of the match. Franco Moscatelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uno Mattsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the game, Strömsbro IF's Uno Mattsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franco Moscatelli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Uno Mattsson hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Rıza Vuralhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Izel in the 62nd minute of play. Franco Moscatelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Argyris Papapetrou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Strömsbro IF's Rıza Vuralhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Izel in the 68th minute of play. Franco Moscatelli made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Argyris Papapetrou sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd minute Uno Mattsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Moscatelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Argyris Papapetrou had several of the La Scaloneta's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 77 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Franco Moscatelli as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orbay Kiner in the 88th minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Rıza Vuralhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Vinícius Junior in the 92nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Strömsbro IF's Mao Jun Yun. Enrique Rozarius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Rıza Vuralhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Strömsbro IF's Mao Jun Yun quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vinícius Junior, made in the 95th minute of the game. After 96 played minutes Strömsbro IF got a freekick which was hit by Uno Mattsson. Strömsbro IF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
