Boca Juniors's Roman Rollins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Steiner in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Olympique Fribourg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rich Jean was slow to take the kick. During this time Boca Juniors's players had a chance to rest. Tristan Arioli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernie Dixon in the 15th minute of the match. Tristan Arioli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernie Dixon, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 23rd minute Ernie Dixon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Arioli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roman Rollins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mich Batshuayi, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When Brian Herget came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Boca Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brian Herget couldn't finish the play. Roman Rollins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Steiner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roman Rollins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Steiner in the 43rd minute of play. With a little luck, Olympique Fribourg's Tristan Arioli got control of the ball when Cyryl Karpinski tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Jason Stuart got a free kick in the 58th minute. Tristan Arioli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brian Herget in the 62nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Mich Batshuayi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roman Rollins. That made the score 1-1 in the 64 minute of play. A collision led to Olympique Fribourg getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Mateo Esiquio hit a great ball. Olympique Fribourg's Tristan Arioli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernie Dixon in the 71st minute of play. Mich Batshuayi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Roman Rollins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boca Juniors's Shelby Cruz was substituted for Jason Stuart. In the 82nd minute Neil Kemp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Arioli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Olympique Fribourg's goal looked a bit too open when J.C. Ogden came free, but Tristan Arioli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 minutes of play, Boca Juniors's Neil Kemp made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tristan Arioli was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Boca Juniors fans cheered their team off the field, for while Olympique Fribourg had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
