The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Johan Neeskens came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the New Miran FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johan Neeskens couldn't finish the play. In the 5th minute, Charlie Vandamme made a precise shot to the right of Tristan Arioli. Olympique Fribourg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Gino Tonić made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Mich Batshuayi sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elce Teleagă in the 10th minute of play forced Olympique Fribourg's goalkeeper Tristan Arioli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When New Miran FC's Elce Teleagă in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Olympique Fribourg's goalie prevented a goal. New Miran FC's Gino Tonić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Esiquio in the 15th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, New Miran FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Steiner came free, but Gino Tonić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Steiner in the 19th minute of play forced New Miran FC's goalkeeper Gino Tonić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johan Neeskens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tristan Arioli having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Charlie Vandamme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Arioli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of New Miran FC booed when Olympique Fribourg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcellus Walpert didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Elce Teleagă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Tristan Arioli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 27th minute Mané Belino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Arioli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charlie Vandamme might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tristan Arioli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Charlie Vandamme ran back to his position shaking his head. Tristan Arioli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlie Vandamme in the 32nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Elce Teleagă sped through Olympique Fribourg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tristan Arioli. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charlie Vandamme in the 34th minute of play forced Olympique Fribourg's goalkeeper Tristan Arioli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gino Tonić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Esiquio, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. New Miran FC's Gino Tonić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Esiquio in the 42nd minute of play. Tristan Arioli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charlie Vandamme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. New Miran FC were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Olympique Fribourg's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leo Fender took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Hugo De Leon heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.
The wind increased when Elce Teleagă made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Charlie Vandamme reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tristan Arioli. The goal made the score 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elce Teleagă in the 56th minute of play forced Olympique Fribourg's goalkeeper Tristan Arioli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. New Miran FC's Gino Tonić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mich Batshuayi in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charlie Vandamme in the 60th minute of play forced Olympique Fribourg's goalkeeper Tristan Arioli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Olympique Fribourg's Tristan Arioli got control of the ball when Mané Belino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elce Teleagă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Tristan Arioli made a huge save. Gino Tonić came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Olympique Fribourg's Bruno Steiner. But to his dismay, Bruno Steiner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. In the 72nd match minute, Olympique Fribourg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Steiner to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charlie Vandamme in the 74th minute of play forced Olympique Fribourg's goalkeeper Tristan Arioli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. New Miran FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leo Fender in the 75th minute. A nice corner shot did that Leo Fender got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tristan Arioli quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tristan Arioli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elce Teleagă in the 77th minute. Charlie Vandamme struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Tristan Arioli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New Miran FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Otto Gol got free with Tristan Arioli in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 94 minutes of play, New Miran FC's Otto Gol made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tristan Arioli was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Olympique Fribourg supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching New Miran FC's performance. The match ended with a win for New Miran FC.
