In the 2nd minute, one of Dersim FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dersim FC. After 5 minutes Dersim FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Shi Xi Wei who took care of the corner kick. In the 8th minute, Quintino Lobo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacob Josef Zurflüh was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Dersim FC's goalkeeper Jacob Josef Zurflüh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laureano Portugal. 19 minutes into the game, Dersim FC's Lukas Kathan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Salvador Sordo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 22 minutes into the game, Mirko Walser cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Salvador Sordo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 27th minute of the match, Laureano Portugal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jacob Josef Zurflüh saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Quintino Lobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jacob Josef Zurflüh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukas Kathan in the 32nd minute of play forced Eureka's goalkeeper Salvador Sordo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adam Matt in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salvador Sordo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute Mirko Walser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Sordo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dersim FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lukas Kathan in the 37th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Eureka's goalie and right to Daniel Marxer. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Eureka's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 42 played minutes Eureka got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Severo. The supporters of Dersim FC booed when Eureka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Barroso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eureka's Salvador Sordo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas Kathan in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Dersim FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adam Matt made a kick off. Adam Matt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Salvador Sordo made a huge save. Eureka's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Adam Matt scored to the left of an out of position Salvador Sordo, making the score, 1-3. 58 minutes into the match, Dersim FC's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Portugal came free, but Jacob Josef Zurflüh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Matt in the 59th minute of play forced Eureka's goalkeeper Salvador Sordo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacob Josef Zurflüh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Portugal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valdemar Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Ralph Zinsli hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Dersim FC made a substitution. Salvador Sordo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Marxer in the 78th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Barroso during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Eureka! In the 87th minute there was a penalty for Dersim FC. Adam Matt stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Salvador Sordo. 1-5. Jacob Josef Zurflüh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Portugal in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute Lukas Kathan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Sordo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led to Dersim FC's Daniel Marxer getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Eureka's goalkeeper Salvador Sordo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adam Matt. A collision led to Eureka getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Armindo Barcelos hit a great ball.
