Adam Matt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Ezequiel Santos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ruperto Naike hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Ezequiel Santos made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Adam Matt sent off a good shot on target. Casemiro Hakimi kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Lukas Kathan's shot from long distance in the 23rd minute was not bad at all, but Tirense F.C.'s Ezequiel Santos knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Matt got free with Ezequiel Santos in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacob Josef Zurflüh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balin Walter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mirko Walser could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Ezequiel Santos made a huge save. The throw-in from Helmut Klein in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Tirense F.C.'s Erasmo Baiano. Thanks to some nice moves Adam Matt could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Ezequiel Santos however easily saved by the left post. Ezequiel Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Öhri, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the last second Ezequiel Santos throw himself and got hold of the ball when Adam Matt in the 44thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Ezequiel Santos stood somewhat misplaced when Adam Matt came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 44 minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Ezequiel Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Helmut Klein, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adam Matt in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ezequiel Santos saved Tirense F.C. from getting behind. Kaberks Suder's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Jacob Josef Zurflüh skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 82nd minute of the match Tirense F.C. got a corner.
