Tequila Sunrise's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alp Enginalp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 14 minutes into the match, Alp Enginalp dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wladyslaw Siwek, 4-0. 24 minutes into the match, Alp Enginalp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wladyslaw Siwek. Latif Şakir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Wladyslaw Siwek made a huge save. 38 minutes into the match, Alp Enginalp notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Tequila Sunrise's Wladyslaw Siwek. Wladyslaw Siwek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alp Enginalp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Wladyslaw Siwek made a huge save. After 42 minutes, Marcin Konieczny mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tequila Sunrise and the istanbulls players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcin Konieczny kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 10-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roch Zbikowski to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, istanbulls's Haldun Özol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wladyslaw Siwek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. After a defensive mix-up in istanbulls's zone, Roch Zbikowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Göksel Canfeda came out of the goal and Roch Zbikowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute, Berkay Şahiner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The istanbulls fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. But to his dismay, Patric Bierhoff quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 15-0. Wladyslaw Siwek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alp Enginalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After some careless play in the Tequila Sunrise defense, Zeng Chong Kang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wladyslaw Siwek. The Tequila Sunrise fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wladyslaw Siwek should have stopped the shot. 85 minutes into the match, Tequila Sunrise's goal looked a bit too open when Patric Bierhoff came free, but Wladyslaw Siwek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berkay Şahiner in the 86th minute of play forced Tequila Sunrise's goalkeeper Wladyslaw Siwek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wladyslaw Siwek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alp Enginalp went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 17-0 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Patric Bierhoff put it in 18-0 from a short distance just to the right of Wladyslaw Siwek. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. istanbulls had played much better football throughout.
