The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. istanbulls's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Antonio Reno scored to the left of an out of position Göksel Canfeda, making the score, 1-0. With a little luck, istanbulls's Göksel Canfeda got control of the ball when Bruno Quirino tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Emil Wincek took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Göksel Canfeda to make any attempt to save it. 22 minutes into the match, istanbulls's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Wincek came free, but Göksel Canfeda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Alp Enginalp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The istanbulls fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Haldun Özol kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Göksel Canfeda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from CJ Lewandowski in the 32nd minute of the match. Demircan Nadi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Göksel Canfeda made a huge save. With a little luck, istanbulls's Göksel Canfeda got control of the ball when Emil Wincek tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, istanbulls's Nadir Yalvaç got a free kick in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berkay Şahiner in the 45th minute of play forced La Società Sport Osasco's goalkeeper Samuel Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuel Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alp Enginalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 played minutes La Società Sport Osasco got a freekick which was hit by Demircan Nadi. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Göksel Canfeda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Wincek in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Latif Şakir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Latif Şakir kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, istanbulls's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Wincek came free, but Göksel Canfeda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 played minutes istanbulls got a freekick which was hit by Haldun Özol. Göksel Canfeda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Wincek, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Patric Bierhoff recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. La Società Sport Osasco's Rafa Mangueira was substituted for Emil Wincek. La Società Sport Osasco's João Andrade was substituted for Antonio Reno. 73 minutes into the match, La Società Sport Osasco's goalkeeper Samuel Santos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alp Enginalp. Berkay Şahiner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Santos having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafa Mangueira in the 82nd minute of play forced istanbulls's goalkeeper Göksel Canfeda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, istanbulls's goal looked a bit too open when Chen Jian came free, but Göksel Canfeda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafa Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 played minutes istanbulls got a freekick which was hit by Ertan İdrisoğlu. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. La Società Sport Osasco fully deserved thier win.
