Club Vertigo's Ovidiu Caranfil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Club Vertigo from getting a goal against them. After 14 played minutes F.C. Piastów got a freekick which was hit by Marek Pasterski. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jikolo Mabalane in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ovidiu Caranfil saved Club Vertigo from getting behind. The supporters of F.C. Piastów booed when Club Vertigo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tudor Ionașcu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute Jikolo Mabalane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Caranfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Club Vertigo defense, Jikolo Mabalane kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ovidiu Caranfil. The Club Vertigo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ovidiu Caranfil should have stopped the shot. Marcos Chavez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benedykt Bronkala could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Ovidiu Caranfil made a huge save. Club Vertigo's Aurelian Mănescu got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Club Vertigo's Ovidiu Caranfil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jikolo Mabalane in the 38th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mădălin Nicolau during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of F.C. Piastów booed when Club Vertigo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mădălin Nicolau didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goalkeeper Ovidiu Caranfil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedykt Bronkala. 43 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goal looked a bit too open when Jikolo Mabalane came free, but Ovidiu Caranfil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Chavez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelian Mănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. But to his dismay, Benedykt Bronkala quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. F.C. Piastów's Rafal Piechocki was substituted for Lucjan Skarpiak. Aurelian Mănescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Marcos Chavez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goal looked a bit too open when Benedykt Bronkala came free, but Ovidiu Caranfil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurelian Mănescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Chavez having to make a save. Rafal Charlap received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Ovidiu Caranfil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, F.C. Piastów's Dawid Pleban got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute Aurelian Mănescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Chavez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Piastów's zone, Aurelian Mănescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Chavez came out of the goal and Aurelian Mănescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A nice corner shot did that Benedykt Bronkala got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ovidiu Caranfil quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. F.C. Piastów's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
