In the 17th minute, Duong Kuster got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Torpedo Dabrowa's goalkeeper Eugeniusz Osikowicz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Angelino Inautzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eugeniusz Osikowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Inautzi in the 38th minute of play. Atlético Rio Cuarto's Bernardino Dimas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kajetan Chmielecki in the 41st minute of play. Eugeniusz Osikowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Inautzi in the 42nd minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

FC Torpedo Dabrowa made a substitution. Ahmet Bedri Uçman replaced Wiktor Cuber. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kazimierz Latocha was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Atlético Rio Cuarto booed when FC Torpedo Dabrowa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomasz Hajto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardino Dimas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kazimierz Latocha went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. FC Torpedo Dabrowa's Adam Dziatkowski was substituted for Kajetan Chmielecki. Bernardino Dimas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Dziatkowski in the 64th minute of the match. Atlético Rio Cuarto's Bernardino Dimas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kazimierz Latocha in the 66th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Fevzi Toralp got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bernardino Dimas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bernardino Dimas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Bedri Uçman, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Tomasz Hajto made in the 77th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Emil Mielak however managed to control. Santos Montel struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Eugeniusz Osikowicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Rio Cuarto. Angelino Inautzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugeniusz Osikowicz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Eugeniusz Osikowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Inautzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After having played for 92 minutes, Angelino Inautzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Rio Cuarto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelino Inautzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute Adam Dziatkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Dimas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santos Montel hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. FC Torpedo Dabrowa's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
