In the 8th minute, Konstantin Opatrný ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henry Lembeck was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Konstantin Opatrný's late challenge caught a Zijdewind SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Konstantin Opatrný helped the player get up and apologised. After 10 played minutes SK Slavoj Vyšehrad got a freekick which was hit by Konstantin Opatrný. 15 minutes into the game, Vasile Furdui cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Henry Lembeck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vasile Furdui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Henry Lembeck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to SK Slavoj Vyšehrad getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Vasile Furdui hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdi Dekens came free, but Jarmil Bůžek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henry Lembeck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evžen Pergl, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 39 played minutes SK Slavoj Vyšehrad got a freekick which was hit by Jiří Kalčík. In the 41st minute of the match Zijdewind SC got a corner. SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniël De Leeuw ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some careless play in the Zijdewind SC defense, Konstantin Opatrný kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henry Lembeck. The Zijdewind SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henry Lembeck should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernest van der Laan to strike the kick off in the second half. Vilém Soldát kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's zone, Rudi den Hartog stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarmil Bůžek came out of the goal and Rudi den Hartog tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henry Lembeck made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Konstantin Opatrný sent off a good shot on target. Henry Lembeck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasile Furdui in the 63rd minute of play. Konstantin Opatrný in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Henry Lembeck, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Vilém Soldát kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70thth minute of the game Ferdi Dekens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's Jarmil Bůžek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Vasile Furdui got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Vasile Furdui took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Henry Lembeck to make any attempt to save it. SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
