Silvain Labrouche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Saldanha in the 5th minute of play. Ramón Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudolf Bergqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the match, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s goal looked a bit too open when Rudolf Bergqvist came free, but Ramón Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Henry Ritter sped through ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ramón Abreu. After 21 minutes of play, GOMEZ F.C.'s Jonatan Chaime made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramón Abreu was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Kaká Senna hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, GOMEZ F.C.'s Vermudo Rallo got a free kick in the 26th minute. The supporters of GOMEZ F.C. booed when ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Braga didn't get a good kick on the ball. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Ramón Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Ritter in the 35th minute of play. Silvain Labrouche was a little too slow when Erasmo Cardoso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 1-2. A hard shot 43 in the game by Richard Saldanha from a close distance when the talented Silvain Labrouche managed to make a qualified save. GOMEZ F.C.'s players were relieved. Erasmo Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Silvain Labrouche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half GOMEZ F.C. were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erasmo Cardoso to strike the kick off in the second half. Erasmo Cardoso scored 2-2 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvain Labrouche, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Kaká Senna was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Silvain Labrouche in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience was convinced that Erasmo Cardoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvain Labrouche was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. The supporters of ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ booed when GOMEZ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Criban Outon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Richard Saldanha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvain Labrouche didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Richard Saldanha went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Saldanha in the 78th minute of play forced GOMEZ F.C.'s goalkeeper Silvain Labrouche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GOMEZ F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jonatan Chaime in the 83rd minute. GOMEZ F.C.'s Jonatan Chaime was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ramón Abreu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Ramón Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolf Bergqvist in the 87th minute of play. Borja Zumiza hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Nicolas Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. GOMEZ F.C.'s Silvain Labrouche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Saldanha in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ fans cheered their team off the field, for while GOMEZ F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
