After a defensive mix-up in Hermosillo FC's zone, Weather Manglano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Evarado came out of the goal and Weather Manglano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. GOMEZ F.C. made a substitution. Patricio Lloret replaced Jonatan Chaime. A collision led to Hermosillo FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Jonatan Fraco hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Hermosillo FC's Twan Sans slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Silvain Labrouche. That made the score 2-1 after 30 minutes of play. Patricio Lloret sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Henry Ritter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Evarado was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. A collision led to Hermosillo FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Chico Che hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, Hermosillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Ritter came free, but Samuel Evarado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henry Ritter during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Hermosillo FC booed when GOMEZ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Ritter didn't get a good kick on the ball.

In the 67th match minute, Hermosillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chico Che to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Hermosillo FC's Chico Che got a free kick in the 69th minute. A collision led to GOMEZ F.C. getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Henry Ritter hit a great ball. Gonzalo Corderro kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Samuel Evarado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Lloret in the 88th minute of the match. Henry Ritters short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Samuel Evarado to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Patricio Lloret took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel Evarado. Samuel Evarado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. When the match was over GOMEZ F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hermosillo FC throughout the match.
