Radomir Zurawski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sever Patriciu in the 4th minute of play. Adam Niziolek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Radarowcy Szczecin's Radomir Zurawski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Radarowcy Szczecin from getting a goal against them. Roch Cieslak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boguslaw Piesciuk in the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Radarowcy Szczecin were awarded a corner. Don Romário went to the cornerflag to take it. Radomir Zurawski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sever Patriciu, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Radarowcy Szczecin's Boguslaw Piesciuk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roch Cieslak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 17th minute of the match Radarowcy Szczecin got a corner. FC Luck's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Don Romário ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boguslaw Piesciuk in the 24th minute of play forced FC Luck's goalkeeper Roch Cieslak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 29 minutes, Boguslaw Piesciuk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Radarowcy Szczecin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boguslaw Piesciuk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Adam Niziolek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roch Cieslak was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. FC Luck's Narcis Voinescu got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Boguslaw Piesciuk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roch Cieslak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. With a little luck, Radarowcy Szczecin's Radomir Zurawski got control of the ball when Pavel Logofătu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roch Cieslak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boguslaw Piesciuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Silviu Bădila hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sever Patriciu to make the kick off. Radarowcy Szczecin's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Don Romário in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Radarowcy Szczecin's goalkeeper Radomir Zurawski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boguslaw Piesciuk in the 59th minute of play forced FC Luck's goalkeeper Roch Cieslak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boguslaw Piesciuk might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roch Cieslak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Boguslaw Piesciuk ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 65 minutes, Boguslaw Piesciuk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Radarowcy Szczecin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boguslaw Piesciuk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Boguslaw Piesciuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, FC Luck's Narcis Voinescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Radomir Zurawski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roch Cieslak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boguslaw Piesciuk in the 71st minute of the match. Narcis Voinescu took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Radomir Zurawski. Radomir Zurawski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Adam Niziolek's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Roch Cieslak skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Adam Niziolek in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Roch Cieslak, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Boguslaw Piesciuk struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Roch Cieslak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Radarowcy Szczecin. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Luck's goalkeeper Roch Cieslak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The throw-in from Krzysztof Lichniak in the 84th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Luck's Niculae Mercescu. When Niculae Mercescu fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Luck's protests and gave Niculae Mercescu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th minute Boguslaw Piesciuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roch Cieslak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radarowcy Szczecin's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
