The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jordy Steckens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gordon Suarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute, Gordon Suarez made a precise shot to the right of Jordy Steckens. Circus BAF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Gordon Suarez might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jordy Steckens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gordon Suarez ran back to his position shaking his head. 11 minutes into the match, Circus BAF's goal looked a bit too open when Gordon Suarez came free, but Jordy Steckens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Servando Ariztimuño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Teo Van de Velde in the 17th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Vanadio F.C.'s Errapel Hernando. A collision led to Vanadio F.C. getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Evaristo Gurruchaga hit a great ball. Paulin Sequeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Van Gertsuyden in the 19th minute of play. Gordon Suarez took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jordy Steckens. Jordy Steckens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Hannes Van Lancker made in the 27th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Francois Van Den Poel however managed to control. Teo Van de Velde charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teo Van de Velde the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Circus BAF getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Teo Van de Velde hit a great ball. The Vanadio F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Vanadio F.C.'s Gordon Suarez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jordy Steckens came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Vanadio F.C.'s Servando Ariztimuño. But to his dismay, Servando Ariztimuño quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 41st minute Gordon Suarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordy Steckens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Errapel Hernando made in the 45th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Circus BAF's Francois Van Den Poel. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gordon Suarez made a kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Jordy Steckens successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Vanadio F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maxin Oces in the 54th minute. Servando Ariztimuño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Jordy Steckens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vanadio F.C. made a substitution. Leizarraga Olmedo replaced Evaristo Gurruchaga. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vanadio F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulin Sequeiros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Gordon Suarez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jordy Steckens was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Circus BAF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Osvaldo Peregrin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Jordy Steckens made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Osvaldo Peregrin sent off a good shot on target. Raf Van Gestelt hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute Gordon Suarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordy Steckens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An obvious chance of a goal. When the final whistle sounded Vanadio F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Circus BAF.
