With his leg Edvaldo Gaspar managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when 61 PIMMS FC's Yavuz-Sultan Selim fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berke Rush in the 7th minute of play forced 61 PIMMS FC's goalkeeper Fernado Muslera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Frenchville Sports Club's Can Sadov got a free kick in the 8th minute. A hard shot 10 in the game by Yavuz-Sultan Selim from a close distance when the talented Edvaldo Gaspar managed to make a qualified save. Frenchville Sports Club's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yavuz-Sultan Selim in the 13th minute of play forced Frenchville Sports Club's goalkeeper Edvaldo Gaspar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 PIMMS FC's attentive Valentín Montaña managed to snatch the ball when Valério Netto made a throw-in in the 18th minute of the game. Yavuz-Sultan Selim might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edvaldo Gaspar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yavuz-Sultan Selim ran back to his position shaking his head. 24 minutes into the match, Frenchville Sports Club's goal looked a bit too open when Yavuz-Sultan Selim came free, but Edvaldo Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Yavuz-Sultan Selim dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edvaldo Gaspar, 1-0. Edvaldo Gaspar came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by 61 PIMMS FC's Yavuz-Sultan Selim. But to his dismay, Yavuz-Sultan Selim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in Frenchville Sports Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Edvaldo Gaspar made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Yavuz-Sultan Selim sent off a good shot on target. Edvaldo Gaspar stood somewhat misplaced when Yavuz-Sultan Selim came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 44 minute. Fernado Muslera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quincy Slattery in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yavuz-Sultan Selim was the one to do the kick off. Frenchville Sports Club's Edvaldo Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yavuz-Sultan Selim in the 58th minute of play. Edvaldo Gaspar had in the 61stth minute some difficulties stopping Cao Ting Ran's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 61 minutes of play, 61 PIMMS FC's Cao Ting Ran made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edvaldo Gaspar was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute Yavuz-Sultan Selim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvaldo Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75thth minute of the game Yavuz-Sultan Selim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Frenchville Sports Club's Edvaldo Gaspar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edvaldo Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yavuz-Sultan Selim in the 77th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Yavuz-Sultan Selim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Edvaldo Gaspar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yavuz-Sultan Selim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yavuz-Sultan Selim in the 81st minute of play forced Frenchville Sports Club's goalkeeper Edvaldo Gaspar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Frenchville Sports Club's zone, Yavuz-Sultan Selim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvaldo Gaspar came out of the goal and Yavuz-Sultan Selim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edvaldo Gaspar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yavuz-Sultan Selim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Frenchville Sports Club defense, Yavuz-Sultan Selim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edvaldo Gaspar. The Frenchville Sports Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edvaldo Gaspar should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. 61 PIMMS FC had played much better football throughout.
