The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Renaud Specht received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tevfik Sabri came out and tried to block the shot, but Renaud Specht slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. Renaud Specht recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Astros de México's goalkeeper Tevfik Sabri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renaud Specht. Renaud Specht's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tevfik Sabri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Renaud Specht could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Tevfik Sabri made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Renaud Specht could shoot a difficult shot in the 21st minute, which Tevfik Sabri however easily saved by the left post. Astros de México's Tevfik Sabri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renaud Specht in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Astros de México getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Guido Salomon hit a great ball. Renaud Specht struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Tevfik Sabri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC BerserkerS. Neycho Bidzhev spun around in front of the goal 38 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Astros de México's goal. In the 43rd minute, Tomás Mangueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tevfik Sabri made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Marian Minkovski sent off a good shot on target. After 45 minutes Astros de México's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marian Minkovski who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Marian Minkovski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Astros de México's Tevfik Sabri did a great save. 46 minutes in the game, Borimir Iskrenov fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tevfik Sabri having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tibor Lázár stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renaud Specht in the 53rd minute of play forced Astros de México's goalkeeper Tevfik Sabri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remigio Orlondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Quintin, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Tevfik Sabri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renaud Specht in the 58th minute of the match. Tevfik Sabri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Renaud Specht went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Astros de México's Feliberto Eyague was substituted for Guido Salomon. Tibor Lázár struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Tevfik Sabri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC BerserkerS. In the 71st minute, Leandro Bartoleme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tevfik Sabri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Zafirov in the 77th minute of the match. Remigio Orlondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Eyague, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 minutes of play, FC BerserkerS's Renaud Specht made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tevfik Sabri was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 85th minute, Julio Quintin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes into the match, Volodya Zdravchev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tevfik Sabri. Astros de México's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Volodya Zdravchev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC BerserkerS fully deserved thier win.
