Spectators: 7638 (Terracing: 5730, Seating: 1756, VIP seats: 152) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sven de Zwaan kicked off to start the match. If Sven de Zwaan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zhao Yao Ying's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rigoberto Nazario read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Rigoberto Nazario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhao Yao Ying, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven de Zwaan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guo Han Di having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Ulises Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oldham Athletic's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulises Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rigoberto Nazario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 20 minutes into the match, Argentinos Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian-Federico Dolić came free, but Rigoberto Nazario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Zhao Yao Ying shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Nazario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Argentinos Juniors's Rigoberto Nazario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Costa in the 24th minute of play. Rigoberto Nazario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven de Zwaan in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guo Han Di saved Oldham Athletic from getting behind. Sven de Zwaan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Guo Han Di when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Oldham Athletic's Guo Han Di proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Oldham Athletic from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zhao Yao Ying made a kick off. 50 minutes into the match, Oldham Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Sven de Zwaan came free, but Guo Han Di reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 52nd minute of the match Argentinos Juniors got a corner. Oldham Athletic's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leon Richie ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Argentinos Juniors's Sven de Zwaan in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Oldham Athletic's goalie prevented a goal. Rigoberto Nazario made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Zhao Yao Ying sent off a good shot on target. Rigoberto Nazario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhao Yao Ying in the 58th minute of the match. Ulises Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Rigoberto Nazario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Muhammed-Emir Benice in the 63rd minute of play forced Argentinos Juniors's goalkeeper Rigoberto Nazario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 played minutes Oldham Athletic got a freekick which was hit by Cristian-Federico Dolić. Oldham Athletic made a substitution. William Tingelholm replaced Muhammed-Emir Benice. A collision led to Oldham Athletic getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Cristian-Federico Dolić hit a great ball. Petruț Fințescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Guo Han Di tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute Domingos Aires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guo Han Di saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven de Zwaan in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guo Han Di saved Oldham Athletic from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven de Zwaan in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guo Han Di prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valter Abrahamsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Nazario having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Sune Axelsson took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Rigoberto Nazario to make any attempt to save it. Rigoberto Nazario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sune Axelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Argentinos Juniors's Rigoberto Nazario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sune Axelsson in the 93rd minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Oldham Athletic's Sune Axelsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rigoberto Nazario made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When the final whistle sounded Oldham Athletic left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Argentinos Juniors.
