In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galmock FC's goalkeeper Elias Firmin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristo Cordara made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Valentin Valentine sent off a good shot on target. Cristo Cordara was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Claudio-Paul Caniggia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. After a rather tough play, La Banda del Tinto's Mikk Leks got a free kick in the 16th minute. When Fidel Zárate fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Banda del Tinto's protests and gave Fidel Zárate a yellow card for diving instead. Fidel Zárate kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Claudio-Paul Caniggia in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Cristo Cordara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo López, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Valentin Valentine scored 2-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristo Cordara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristo Cordara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Valentine in the 41st minute of play. La Banda del Tinto's attentive Fidel Zárate managed to snatch the ball when Fernan Roldan made a throw-in in the 44th minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Fernan Roldan in the 47th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by La Banda del Tinto's Fidel Zárate. A collision led to La Banda del Tinto getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Fidel Zárate hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulino Bero to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristo Cordara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio-Paul Caniggia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, La Banda del Tinto's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Valentine came free, but Cristo Cordara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Galmock FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cesar Belo in the 57th minute. Galmock FC's Cesar Belo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cristo Cordara in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angel Quijada during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 58 played minutes La Banda del Tinto got a freekick which was hit by Angel Quijada. After 59 minutes of play, Galmock FC's Valentin Valentine made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristo Cordara was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of La Banda del Tinto booed when Galmock FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Valentine didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, La Banda del Tinto's Paulino Bero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elias Firmin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th minute of the match La Banda del Tinto got a corner. Galmock FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fidel Zárate ran over to the corner to take the kick. La Banda del Tinto's Fidel Zárate was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Elias Firmin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Paulino Bero struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Elias Firmin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Banda del Tinto. When the match had been going on for 70 minutes, La Banda del Tinto's Fidel Zárate got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Elias Firmin. Elias Firmin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Bero, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Elias Firmin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Bero in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute La Banda del Tinto were awarded a corner. Fidel Zárate went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Fidel Zárate got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Elias Firmin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 79 minutes into the match, Galmock FC's goalkeeper Elias Firmin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angel Quijada. Cristo Cordara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio-Paul Caniggia, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The audience was convinced that Valentin Valentine's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristo Cordara was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. After having played for 96 minutes, Paulino Bero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Banda del Tinto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulino Bero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 98th minute Paulino Bero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Firmin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Galmock FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
