The audience was convinced that Robbin De Ruyter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilfredo Irrintzi was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Manuel Tonio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Jorge Caetano made a huge save. After 21 played minutes Gryffindor Lions got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Timo. Wilfredo Irrintzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurent Elzen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Caetano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Vimaro in the 28th minute of the match. Eustacio Gaxan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Jorge Caetano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilfredo Irrintzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robbin De Ruyter, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When Americo Tabby fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gryffindor Lions's protests and gave Americo Tabby a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th match minute, Gryffindor Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Tabby to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robbin De Ruyter in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilfredo Irrintzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zero Gravity's Jorge Caetano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Zero Gravity from getting a goal against them. In the 46th minute Gryffindor Lions were awarded a corner. Elpidio Remigio went to the cornerflag to take it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robbin De Ruyter was the one to do the kick off. Jorge Caetano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Timo in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Gaxan in the 58th minute of play forced Zero Gravity's goalkeeper Jorge Caetano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filiberto Bernebe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wilfredo Irrintzi came out and tried to block the shot, but Filiberto Bernebe slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 61st minute. Laurent Elzen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Irrintzi having to interfere. Jorge Caetano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustacio Gaxan, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Zero Gravity's Jorge Caetano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Timo in the 72nd minute of play. Zero Gravity made a substitution. Wawrzyniec Iwanowski replaced Robbin De Ruyter. Gryffindor Lions were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Zero Gravity's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Elpidio Remigio took the corner. Vito Teles thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Jorge Caetano, a very annoying self made goal in the 75th minute which led to 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wawrzyniec Iwanowski got free with Wilfredo Irrintzi in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wawrzyniec Iwanowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Wilfredo Irrintzi made a huge save. 80 minutes into the match, Zero Gravity's Qin Fei Chao sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilfredo Irrintzi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zero Gravity's Jorge Caetano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Vimaro in the 83rd minute of play. Gryffindor Lions's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Elpidio Remigio in the 84th minute. The supporters of Gryffindor Lions booed when Zero Gravity was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Qin Fei Chao didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eustacio Gaxan scored 4-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Caetano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mikolaj Ratulowski in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilfredo Irrintzi saved Gryffindor Lions from getting behind.
