After recieving a nice pass, Monia&Ibrahim's Samuel Dusett tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Atay Türegün showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Dusett in the 17th minute of the match. With his leg Marcus Sjöö managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when MegaFenerbahce's Gu Yi Yuan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Samuel Dusett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Atay Türegün showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Dusett, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute Gu Yi Yuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Sjöö saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cao Wei Liang in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atay Türegün saved MegaFenerbahce from getting behind. In the 36th minute Torgny Fernström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atay Türegün saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Torgny Fernström sped through MegaFenerbahce's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Atay Türegün. The audience was convinced that Samuel Dusett's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atay Türegün was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gu Yi Yuan was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Fabio Mancinelli sped through Monia&Ibrahim's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcus Sjöö. MegaFenerbahce's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Servando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Monia&Ibrahim's Inge Collin was substituted for Samuel Dusett. Monia&Ibrahim made a substitution. Isak Bengtsson replaced Jan-Åke Johnsson. A hard shot 73 in the game by Torgny Fernström from a close distance when the talented Atay Türegün managed to make a qualified save. MegaFenerbahce's players were relieved. Monia&Ibrahim's Marcus Sjöö played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gu Yi Yuan in the 75th minute of play. Marcus Sjöö made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gu Yi Yuan in the 79th minute of play. Marcus Sjöö showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gu Yi Yuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torgny Fernström got free with Atay Türegün in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in MegaFenerbahce's zone, Inge Collin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atay Türegün came out of the goal and Inge Collin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gu Yi Yuan took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcus Sjöö. Marcus Sjöö dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-3.
