Szajk LC's András Horváth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulf Nordlander in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Renzo Ingelborgs notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Szajk LC's András Horváth. András Horváth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Szajk LC's Csongor Csorba got a free kick in the 14th minute. András Horváth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerry Jonasson in the 15th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Zalán Kovács managed to get in a good position for a shot. Szajk LC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zalán Kovács was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brazilio Butt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had been going on for 24 minutes, Szajk LC's Roland Szily got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Brazilio Butt. Csongor Csorba might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brazilio Butt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Csongor Csorba ran back to his position shaking his head. Jerry Jonasson hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the game, DIF LEEDS BK's Renzo Ingelborgs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. András Horváth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. András Horváth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulf Nordlander in the 34th minute of the match. András Horváth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Nordlander in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renzo Ingelborgs in the 40th minute of play forced Szajk LC's goalkeeper András Horváth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of DIF LEEDS BK booed when Szajk LC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Csongor Csorba didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ulf Nordlander made a kick off. Brazilio Butt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Csongor Csorba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute Zalán Kovács shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brazilio Butt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Árpád Konkoly struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Brazilio Butt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Szajk LC. DIF LEEDS BK made a substitution. Pál Kormos replaced Henric Persson. With a little luck, Szajk LC's András Horváth got control of the ball when Ulf Nordlander tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Levente Makkai in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brazilio Butt saved DIF LEEDS BK from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Csongor Csorba in the 81st minute of play forced DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Brazilio Butt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roland Szily hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Eduardo Selmo's shot from long distance in the 84th minute was not bad at all, but Szajk LC's András Horváth knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After having played for 85 minutes, Levente Makkai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Szajk LC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Levente Makkai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88thth minute of the game Levente Makkai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DIF LEEDS BK's Brazilio Butt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Levente Makkai in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brazilio Butt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
